A year after joining Towards Maturity’s Ambassador Programme, Upside Learning has renewed its membership for another year, and will be supporting the research organisation in conducting the Benchmark Survey for 2013.

Main:

The Towards Maturity Ambassador Programme, a programme designed for provider companies of learning products and services focused on excellence and growth, enables providers, through supporting the study, to help with the identification and dissemination of good practice case studies, and to align themselves with Towards Maturity’s vision and values. Upside Learning, a leading provider of workplace learning solutions, which had enrolled in this programme last year, has recently renewed its membership for another year.

Currently consisting of 21 leading learning organisations (ambassadors), the Ambassador Programme complements Towards Maturity’s work with learning practitioners, as the producers of Europe’s leading independent Benchmark Study. As one of these ambassadors, Upside Learning had extended its support to the Benchmark Study last year and will be doing it this year for its 2013 Study too.

The 2013 Towards Maturity Benchmark research aims to provide independent advice and support in applying learning innovation to accelerate business performance and deliver more for less. It is now open for public participation and can be accessed at here.

While the personalised benchmark report is valued at £300, individuals and organisations participating in the survey before 12th July 2013, can get FREE feedback due to the support of Upside Learning and other Ambassadors who share Towards Maturity’s passion for ensuring that independent advice is freely available to all. The participants will also get immediate access to 3 new In-Focus reports (topics include Mobile Learning, Aligning your Learning Strategy to Business and Helping individuals Practice and Perform) at the end of this study.

Additional details about the 2013 Benchmark Study can be found at here.

Laura Overton, Managing Director of Towards Maturity, said,

Thanks to the Towards Maturity Ambassadors, any organisation can independently benchmark its L&D strategy with its peers for free in order to drive performance improvement. We are thrilled that Upside Learning is continuing to support this important industry research that provides both personalized feedback against established good practices and an industry wide perspective on hot issues such as mobile learning to support wider decision making.”

Amit Garg, Director of Custom eLearning Solutions and Co-founder of Upside Learning, said,

Towards Maturity’s Benchmarking practice provides independent advice and support in applying learning innovation to accelerate business performance. Benchmarking helps L&D leaders to get there faster without re-inventing the wheel.  As Towards Maturity’s Ambassador since 2012 we have largely benefited from the insights revealed by these benchmark surveys.”

Challenging Perceptions

The corporate learning market is rapidly evolving to meet the ever-changing demands of work and worker. The C-suite and L&D leaders can no longer ignore that over 90 percent of organizations do not realize the full value of their investments.

All you need is Evidence

Every year over $400billion is spent on corporate learning globally, yet only 15% is proven to stick. Investments in learning are continuing to grow year on year but performance impact is not changing. The industry is still struggling to provide real proof of impact, in fact, for the first time the Towards Maturity Index is tracking a significant decline. This is causing leaders to have low confidence levels in L&D.
